    Gila has held a number of C-suite and General Counsel positions at some of the most well-known and loved brands in the US.  She spent six years as General Counsel of James Perse, leading the fashion and lifestyle brand’s legal and compliance matters, and overseeing its global real estate portfolio and retail expansion.  She also served as COO and CFO of Violet Grey, where she was involved in strengthening all aspects of the beauty retailer’s finance, retail, supply chain, and HR functions.  

    Most recently, Gila was COO at Westbrook, an entertainment and media company formed by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to develop and produce premium content for new and legacy media platforms.  She began her career as a litigation attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

    Gila is from Montclair, New Jersey and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

    Erica brings 20 years of legal experience to the firm, primarily in-house and within the retail, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, and logistics sectors.  Having served as General Counsel to BCBG Max Azria and Fashion Nova, and as Deputy General Counsel of Global Brands Group, she has acted as trusted advisor to owner/founders, executive teams, and boards of directors in critical areas including legal services, governance, IP, and HR.  

    As a corporate generalist, Erica provides business-minded advice that protects business while driving growth and scalability.

    Erica is originally from Redding, Connecticut and currently resides in Solvang, CA.

  • Harriet Posner

    PARTNER, FOUNDER

    Harriet spent 30 years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as a partner in the litigation department. Over the decades, she built a wide-ranging practice in state and federal courts across the US, becoming a trusted advisor whom clients keep on speed dial. Harriet has extensive experience helping public and private company CEOs, C-suite leaders, and board directors identify and address complex business and legal problems, and in designing and implementing policies and processes that drive organizational change at scale. Her clients span various sectors, including retail, real estate, sports and entertainment, and financial services.

    In addition to practicing law, Harriet is the Founder and CEO of CALLIDAE LLC, the leading US manufacturer of luxury equestrian apparel and accessories.

    Harriet is originally from Chicago, Illinois and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

  • Mara Nasatir

    Advisor

    Mara brings 20 years of legal and compliance experience spanning BigLaw, federal enforcement, and high growth companies. Most recently she was Director of Safety, Compliance & Ethics at Westbrook, an entertainment and media company formed by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. She began her career as an antitrust attorney for the global law firm Linklaters, then joined the Mergers III Division at the Federal Trade Commission. She has since held a variety of in-house legal and compliance roles at startups and nonprofits, including as Director of Initiatives at TIME'S UP, where her work to improve workplace safety in the entertainment industry garnered national media attention. 

    Building on this diverse experience, Mara now translates complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable systems and practices that enable founders to focus on building their businesses with confidence, and attract and retain top talent. 

    Mara is from Olympia, Washington and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

  • Courtney McCluney

    Advisor

    Courtney McCluney brings more than a decade of human resources experience spanning entertainment, gaming, and high-growth creative companies. Most recently she served as an HR Business Partner at Westbrook, the entertainment and media company founded by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, where she partnered closely with senior leaders to shape organizational design, talent strategy, and people operations during periods of rapid scaling and change.

    Courtney began her HR career at Activision Blizzard, supporting HR operations across a global workforce and contributing to major systems implementations, including Workday. She later joined Westbrook as an HR Manager, where she took full ownership of the company’s benefits function – leading renewals, evaluating competitive offerings, managing broker relationships, and introducing enhancements that improved employee experience and organizational competitiveness. In addition to her benefits leadership, she oversaw employee relations, compliance, learning programs, and the development of Westbrook’s internship and early-talent initiatives before stepping into her Business Partner role.

    Drawing on this breadth of experience, Courtney specializes in translating complex organizational and talent challenges into practical, scalable solutions that strengthen culture, improve clarity for leaders, and support employees through every stage of the talent lifecycle.

    Courtney is from Southern California and currently resides in Los Angeles.
